Gear Drive
At True Lacrosse Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to play lacrosse. Because equipment costs can be a barrier for many families, we host Gear Drives to collect new and gently used lacrosse gear for players in need.
What is a Gear Drive?
A Gear Drive is an organized equipment donation program where players, families, teams, and community members can donate lacrosse gear they no longer use. Donations may include but are not limited to:
- Sticks
- Helmets
- Gloves
Collected equipment is cleaned, sorted, and distributed to athletes and programs who need support.
How Gear Drives Help
Gear Drives help make lacrosse more accessible and inclusive by reducing the financial burden on families. Donations allow young athletes to participate safely and confidently without worrying about the cost of equipment.
Our Gear Drives help:
- Provide equipment to underserved youth players
- Support school and community lacrosse programs
- Encourage continued participation in sports
- Promote sustainability by giving gear a second life
- Build a stronger and more connected lacrosse community
For many players, receiving donated gear can be the difference between watching from the sidelines and stepping onto the field.
